Hmmm the 'Great Experiment' is pretty much over with using Masking Fluid
through a needle tip. I find that it is just too uncontrollable to give
fine detail results (especially on these small models). I'll save such
for eye sockets and cockpit glass when airbrushing. Below are the steps I
did tonight on 5 of fifteen flesh-hounds. I was very happy right up to
the last step, removing the masking. Looks like it will be fine haired
brushes for these burning areas from now on. It won't take much to fix
them with the airbrush, so it was a worthy experiment...
Base orange and yellow in horizontal gradiants
Ghost-tint orange shader to make oranges brighter before masking.
Adding the masking.....
Deep Purple base-coat
Dark Blue in pronounced areas
 Airbrushed blue-grey over major muscles
Gore red to give a mauve/heated metal look
Getting the mouth ready for future colors
 He's...all there....
White socks undercoat (will make yellows pop when sprayed over)
 Medium yellow sprayed over white
 Brighter red sprayed over yellow
Orange sprayed over red and yellow
Mask removed....not pelased but then liquid is hard to get to dry where you need it...
