Finished the ash tops and then Minitair ghost tint yellow to blend the lava better + give it a gloss coat...maybe next weekend its the eyes and clear coat and done

Zoinks...long hobby crawl today.. re-based 45 'Zerks and Possessed from 28 to 32mm, then made them all lava bases, as well as paint four of the leaping 'zerks on Raptor legs...just gotta finish the ashes and done

The curse of painting awful units is that you will now need to field them, because you put the work in...I'm the only player I've ever met who has fielded mutilators on the actual field of battle...even if it's once a year...

Did a tutorial on making fast, easy lava bases here

Made another lava base for the second work in progress Lord Discordant. These bases really only take about 15 mins, not counting drying time, from elmers glue and flock to finished product if you use a big round brush and wet-blend everything. About 20 minutes if you use a hair dryer.
