30 min paint-job on those cheap Reaper Bones minis, this one a vampiress and the other a Necromancer

Started working on this very Conan-ish Saxon warrior. I'd seen a tutorial on using black primer speckled with white for zenithal and blending effects, and one that had green undercoat for flesh and decided I'd combine the two. As Conan has 'sun-bronzed skin' (usually erroneously painted as bronze as his natural color) I went with Orange Leather over the green for a tanner look before the basic flesh 50/50 mix.  Kind of messed up the leggings thinking they were wrapped pant legs when they are separate cloth, so I'll fix that

This guy was obviously inspired by the green alien in Robert E.  Howard's Conan tale,  The Tower of the Elephant. ..even his name is fairly similar (Koth-Yan) . Anyway,  he was great fun to paint up. Posting from mostly completed to base shading.  He will be entered in a local paint competition along with the Amazon.

Sometimes your best intentions go awry. . This guy was supposed to be Tiger striped,  but ended up looking more like a pineapple or pine come. :)

Hobby painting...cranked out this guy from White primer to passable in about an hour. Wet pallet makes paining blends a breeze. Lots to fix but after the barbarian woman's careful painting, simple and fast project was fun

All done except the basing, she's ready for a local paint contest

Decided to go with red hair to add a little color. Slight eyebrows as well.
