Working on some Emperor's Children Oblits I printed/modified in Meshmixer 

 Hasty paint of these Deinos preds before a tourney

 

 

 Half way through the work on these 25mm (maybe smaller) Colonial Marines for a friend's 'Aliens' board game, and let me tell you, Chaos Space Marines have NOTING on the fine details these little bastards pack. There's a standard 28mm dwarf next to them so you can judge the detail for their size. I spent more time on the camo for these guys than I did that whole time doing some Thunderbear cavalry (including the Lord). Rewarding when it starts coming together but the strain looking through that magnifying lense is telling me enough for tonight. I can only imagine if GW's shitty guard models could match these guys, people would avoid the army just in the small details, lol

 

 

 Bear Lord and Ork trukk in about 3-4 hrs. 

 

 Been a while since I updated...did some Space Wolf Thunder Bear cav for a friend....these were a three hour rush paint job after I printed them in Sainsmart new Green resin...'vera nice' detail, if a little more brittle than their grey.

 

Finished up Red Riot for a friend's daughter...airbrush had a cup full fo paint dry in it so its manual we go...

 

 

 Working on barbarians, which gives me the chance to paint multiple skin tones...guy on the far left was too pale so I added 'bronze skin' paint to make him look a little more weathered (pics 2 and 3)...SO MUCH fun trying no shades. I'll be adding blues and greens and verdigris/patina style tones more boldly in the future for sure...I just discovered Tom Grindberg's stuff, and his tones are close to Frazettas, Boris and Norem's classic stuff, but he's got a vibrancy all his own.
