Working on Jessie's Spartan for his Space Wolves; Tried AK's Chipping medium but probably went too light on it's use so the red/brown rust undercoat came out less than I expected but still fairly to close to a worn but serviceable war machine.

In the midst of re-painting a Defiler and Chaos dread for The Cindered...I'll probably be tired of purple-mauve for a lifetime by the time this army gets finished...

Important safety tip: don't come up out of the basement where you've been airbrushing, still wearing your filter-mask and approach your husky, growling like a bear...lol

Been a busy day...repainted these guys from slate-blue grey to a good table top standard in about two hours...painting for tt quality is just getting way faster for me these days...

Bases almost done

Not sure I like free-handing these bases...used elmers and sand flock glued in layers to make lava bubbles...Don't have the blending I'd get with an airbrush but thought i'd try free handing them. The magma is black, they purple + grey mix, then highlighted with grey and then light grey at tips of bubbles.
